Washington, D.C. — While overall growth in health care costs has slowed dramatically in recent years, Americans with employer-sponsored insurance have not seen the effects of the spending slowdown. The Center for American Progress will release a groundbreaking new report tomorrow that analyzes the reasons behind this phenomenon and offers policy recommendations to make health care more affordable for the American consumer.
To launch the report, CAP President Neera Tanden, Senior Fellow Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, and Vice President for Health Policy Topher Spiro will host a press conference call on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at 12:15 p.m. ET.
