EVENT ADVISORY: Rally at Supreme Court Following Announcement of Trump’s Nominee

Washington, D.C. — After President Donald Trump announces his pick to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy, members of Congress and advocacy groups will gather in front of the U.S. Supreme Court and urge Americans to reject a nominee who would overturn Roe v. Wade, roll back health care laws, and take our country backward when it comes to civil rights, workers’ rights, and more—as all of the nominees on Trump’s preapproved list would do. The nation won’t forget Trump’s campaign pledge to stack the court with justices who would take away the rights women have had for 45 years to control their own bodies.
