Jared Bernstein is a senior fellow at American Progress. Bernstein was most recently chair of former President Joe Biden’s Council of Economic Advisers. He has held senior economic policy positions at the Economic Policy Institute and the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. He is currently also a distinguished policy fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research.
