Strengthening U.S. Partnerships in the Middle East

During the past decade, the United States and its partners in the Middle East have undertaken numerous diplomatic, military, and intelligence efforts together to enhance regional stability and combat terrorist threats from groups such as Al Qaeda and the Islamic State. This experience has provided the United States and its regional partners many important lessons about the most effective ways to build partnerships.

Please join the Center for American Progress for a discussion with four leaders who have been involved in building these partnerships. The discussion will examine the lessons learned from their experiences and look at the challenges and opportunities ahead in the Middle East.

His Excellency Yousef Al Otaiba, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the United States
