Despite repeated promises that President Donald Trump and his administration would invest in and empower women, President Trump’s actions have made it clear that he and his team are completely out of touch with the needs of today’s working families. From attacking health care and undermining women’s legal rights to elevating out-of-touch, regressive nominees to key positions, President Trump is revealing his fundamental lack of understanding of the myriad challenges women face and how they are interrelated. It has only been 100 days and millions of women and their families are already feeling the negative impacts of the Trump administration and its misguided agenda.
Please join the Center for American Progress for a panel discussion with leading experts and advocates to discuss how we can continue to make progress in support of women and their families in the current environment, resist rollbacks, and secure concrete policy changes that respond to women’s diverse experiences and needs.
