Across the United States and its territories, human-caused climate change is increasing the severity and frequency of hurricanes, wildfires, floods, and more. These fossil-fueled weather disasters are endangering Americans’ safety and stability, and communities are finding themselves one extreme weather event away from ruin. To stand a chance, communities must demand swift climate action to hold the fossil fuel industry accountable for profiting while polluting their air and water.
