Texas OB-GYN Shares How Patient Care Has Been Unnecessarily Restricted Post-Roe

Without the constitutional right to abortion, some doctors find themselves unable to share complete and comprehensive health care options.

Abortion bans constrain how doctors can communicate with their patients. Living in Texas—where abortion is banned at any stage of pregnancy—means doctors such as Andrea Palmer are limited in the health care options they are permitted to discuss and provide to patients, which can endanger patients’ safety and exacerbate health complications.
