On November 12, 2024, the Center for American Progress submitted a comment letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in response to the proposed Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters for 2026. The comments support proposals to make coverage more affordable by codifying “silver loading,” improve protections against broker fraud, and help connect marketplace consumers with programs that reduce medical debt.
