Dae Yi is the chief information officer for American Progress. Yi is a technology executive with more than 15 years of technology experience leading teams to drive positive impact. From developing strategic plans to implementing workflow improvements, he brings a holistic view to helping organizations navigate the intersection of people and technology.
He was most recently the vice president of information technology and cybersecurity at Personified, where he provided strategic expertise for clients and led the company’s IT service delivery team to triple-digit growth. Prior to Personified, Yi served on the Biden-Harris presidential transition team, the 2020 Democratic National Convention, and the Kamala Harris presidential campaign in various tech leadership roles. Yi is located in the Washington, D.C./Baltimore metro area.
Yi has a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in information technology and systems from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Maryland.
