Andrea Wise is the senior adviser and controller for the Finance team at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, she worked at the White House in the Executive Office of the President as the finance system manager. She previously worked with an amazing financial operations team on the Biden-Harris campaign as the director of accounting. Wise is no stranger to helping others, as she is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where she served as a financial specialist at Homestead Air Force Base in Florida. She has years of corporate accounting experience, as well as experience serving her community in various roles. She earned a master’s degree in business administration from Drexel LeBow University in Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Goldey-Beacom College in Delaware. Wise has a passion for helping others, loves family, and enjoys music.
