Film title art for 'Pieces of the Puzzle'.

“Pieces of the Puzzle” is a powerful documentary following Marcus McAllister—a former justice-impacted youth turned national leader in community violence intervention—as he travels the United States to train and spotlight Everytown Community Safety Fund grantees as they reshape public safety and reduce gun violence in cities nationwide.

Directed by two-time Emmy Award-winner Santana Coleman, the film showcases the human stories behind a proven solution: community-based violence intervention.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion featuring the film’s director, subjects of the film, and other leaders in the gun violence prevention movement.

This screening is part of the Center for American Progress’ Reel Progress program.
