On March 18, 2024, the Center for American Progress submitted a comment letter to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration in response to a proposed rule to update apprenticeship regulations. The comments provide feedback on how the draft regulations seek to strengthen worker protections and standards, promote equity and diversity, improve apprenticeship data collection and quality, and provide clarity on existing elements of the apprenticeship system, among other aims.
