The Senate Continues to Hold the Supreme Court Hostage

Like every year, the U.S. Supreme Court began its new term on the first Monday of October. But this is not like every other year. With just eight justices, the Supreme Court is slated to pass Election Day with a vacancy on its bench for the first time since 1864, when America was in the height of the Civil War.
