New research shows the authoritarian policies in Project 2025 lead Americans to reject this far-right agenda.
Project 2025 is a new authoritarian playbook that would destroy the 250-year-old system of checks and balances upon which U.S. democracy has relied and give far-right politicians, judges, and corporations more control over Americans’ lives. New research from the Center for American Progress and Accountable.US exposes how the restructuring of government that Project 2025 lays out, which is similar to the playbook authoritarian governments have used repeatedly over the past century, can rally the public against the Project 2025 policy agenda that would harm all Americans.
