State of the Union 2020

On Tuesday, February 4, 2020, President Donald Trump is scheduled to address Congress for his third State of the Union address. In his speech, President Trump is sure to mislead the American people; take credit for an economy that began growing long before he took office; blast his recent impeachment; and amplify his attacks on progressive policies. CAP is setting the record straight on Trump's achievements—or lack thereof—as president and outlining the progressive policies that a president should pursue to ensure the United States is a country in which everyone can benefit.
