Washington, D.C. — As the legal battle continues in the lawsuit over the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s deferred action directives—known as DACA and DAPA—the Center for American Progress will host a call to highlight the perspectives of members of Congress and states that have filed briefs in support of the directives.
In addition, CAP released today a new, original analysis of the estimated economic and fiscal benefits from the deferred-action policies over the next 5 years and 10 years. These benefits stand in direct contrast to the claims made by the plaintiff states in the lawsuit.
