PRESS CALL ADVISORY: Gov. Ted Strickland, Hart Research’s Geoff Garin to Discuss New Poll on Voter’s Views of Energy and Environment Agenda

Washington, D.C. — The Center for American Progress will host a press call on Thursday, January 15, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. to discuss the findings of a new nationwide survey of Americans’ priorities for national energy and environmental policies.

Conducted by leading public opinion research firm Hart Research Associates, the survey is the first in-depth look at 2016 voters’ opinions on a broad range of energy and environmental issues that the Obama administration and Congressional Republicans are likely to pursue in the next two years. Former Gov. Ted Strickland (D-OH), Counselor to the Center for American Progress and President of the Center for American Progress Action Fund, will join Geoff Garin, President of Hart Research Associates, on the press call to discuss the results of the public opinion analysis.

The survey was conducted by phone between December 5 and December 9, 2014, and reached 1,101 likely 2016 voters nationwide.
