Grace Oyenubi is a legal assistant at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, she worked as a project assistant at Ellwanger Law LLLP, an equal rights law firm based in Austin, Texas. There, she managed intake processes for civil rights and employment discrimination cases. Oyenubi also interned at the University of Texas Law Criminal Defense Clinic. She assisted the clinic’s clients with obtaining social stability through increased access to employment, affordable housing, and counseling services. Furthermore, Oyenubi advocated for cultural humility education in the University of Texas Law clinics. She organized and co-facilitated a cultural humility workshop for the University of Texas Law clinical professors. Oyenubi earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Austin.
