Chris Ford is the broadcast manager for Communications at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Ford worked as a field organizer for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign in Cincinnati, Ohio. Additionally, he worked in the film industry as a production assistant for several studio and commercial productions, including AMC’s “Turn: Washington’s Spies” and PBS’s “Mercy Street.” Ford is a 2015 graduate of Wake Forest University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in politics and international affairs with a minor in history. Despite focusing the core of his studies on American politics and history, his thesis focused on the roles of nationalism and citizenship within the context of the 2014 Scottish independence referendum. A native of Williamsburg, Virginia, Ford enjoys tennis, film and television, and incredibly long road trips.
