Nicole Cafarella is the Payment Reform Project Manager and Policy Analyst at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Nicole worked as a manager at Avalere Health where she focused on post-acute and long-term care issues.
Nicole began her career working in the Massachusetts House of Representatives as a health policy analyst. She also interned in the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs at the Office of Management and Budget, where she worked on education and Medicaid issues. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and a Master of Public Policy from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute.
