The Affordable Care Act, or ACA, has provided millions of women with access to reproductive health care. Now, with President-elect Donald Trump taking office, America faces the possibility that he will follow through on his threat to repeal the ACA. Women must consider long-term options for contraceptives—such as the intrauterine device, or IUD, or the patch—to protect their right to reproductive health care in Trump’s America.
