Recent history has shown that the government and private actors may use illegal or anti-democratic tactics to suppress the vote and undermine free and fair U.S. elections. This memo identifies several possible anti-immigrant actions that could be taken in the weeks ahead to undermine the integrity of the November election and provides recommendations for how allies and elected officials can protect voting rights against these attacks.
