This weekend, Washington will witness one of the largest demonstrations on the National Mall in support of a single issue since President Obama took office. Tens of thousands of people from across the nation will attend the “March for America,” the rally to push for consideration of comprehensive immigration reform this year.
The march coincides with a key turning point in this legislative session, as Congress prepares to tackle other major issues after dealing with health care. The need for comprehensive immigration reform is great, and now, it is being cued up for consideration.
