Please join Race Forward and the Center for American Progress as they co-host a timely discussion to explore the benefits of federal support for diversity pipeline programs; by reflecting on the return on investment and equity related outcomes of the Environmental Careers Organization’s (ECO) Diversity Initiative. A panel of former ECO staff, ECO alumni, past federal sponsors, and supporters will share how the Diversity Initiative continues to yield results that advance environmental justice, racial equity, and a multiracial democracy. The discussion will reflect on what made the ECO Diversity Initiative successful as a program. Exploration of the program will offer attendees a clearer understanding of the benefits associated with diversity pipeline programs and how to replicate their success.
