Upgrading America’s Infrastructure

Smart Investments for Our Economy, Health, and Climate

10:00 AM - 3:00 PM EDT

The past several years have shown what investing in infrastructure can do to spur innovation and economic growth, as seen in the rise of clean energy technologies, as well as what delayed investment or neglect can do to damage our communities, as seen tragically in Flint, Michigan. Investing in U.S. energy, water, and transportation infrastructure, and identifying supportive policies to do so, is critical to achieving the nation’s climate change goals; increasing economic opportunity; and ensuring our communities have safe and affordable access to the vital resources that they need.

Please join the Center for American Progress and NextGen Climate America at a half-day conference featuring three panel discussions centered on energy, water, and transportation infrastructure. Our distinguished speakers and experts will discuss how federal policymakers can update America’s infrastructure to create jobs, protect public health, and respond to the intensifying challenges of climate change.
