Two nonprofit organizations. One vision. American Progress operates two separate nonprofit organizations to maximize our ability to advance our progressive agenda. The Center for American Progress is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) tax-exempt research, and educational institute. Contributions are attributed to the Center for American Progress. Except for $150 per dinner attendee (and an additional $20 per Policy Breakfast attendee), donations are tax deductible, may be disclosed to the IRS, and will support policy initiatives, research, and public education. If paying by check, please make it payable to Center for American Progress.
Contributions or gifts to Center for American Progress Action Fund are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes and may be disclosed to the IRS. The Center for American Progress Action Fund is a nonpartisan 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organization dedicated to achieving progress through action.
