The country has been the target of international sanctions for decades and protests in 2009 revealed deep dissatisfaction among Iranians with their government. Should the United States continue international pressure and increased sanctions against Iran or focus on a military solution? Can an Iranian nuclear weapon be prevented? What role should America play in the transition to a peaceful Iranian democracy?
