Ten years ago today, Oklahoma City, and our nation, experienced a deadly terrorist attack that killed 168 Americans. Our thoughts and prayers are with the survivors and the families of those who tragically perished. As a nation, we must honor each man, woman and child who lost their lives, and do all that is in our power to prevent another terrorist incident from occurring again on U.S. soil. Today we recommit ourselves to the battle against extremism and pledge to advance the core American ideal of tolerance, a critical element in securing our freedoms.
