Leonard Scott IV is the special assistant for the Poverty to Prosperity Program at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, he worked on diversity and inclusion in the tech industry at Code2040 in San Francisco. Scott previously worked in the office of the vice chancellor for undergraduate education at University of California, Berkeley and interned for The Open Label, a startup firm. Scott received his bachelor’s degree in international development with a concentration on Latin America from University of California, Berkeley.
