Andrew Satter is the senior director of Video at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, he was the video producer for CQ Roll Call in Washington, where he covered the 2008 and 2010 elections, the health care bill, and the rise of the Tea Party. Previously, Satter was the multimedia news producer for the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson, where he was part of a team that travelled the length of the U.S.-Mexico border studying the costs and implications of border security. Satter holds a master’s degree in new media journalism from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism and a bachelor’s degree in english from Washington University in St. Louis.
