Anne Paisley is the Managing Editor at American Progress. She has been with the Editorial team since March 2013 and was previously an intern for American Progress’ National Security team. Prior to joining American Progress, Anne worked as a research associate of private investments and venture capital at Cambridge Associates.
Anne graduated from the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University in 2012 with a double major in international economics and Asian studies. While at GWU, Anne spent a semester abroad in Beijing, China, where she studied at Peking University and interned at an environmental nongovernmental organization. At GWU, she was also vice president of her honor society, Sigma Iota Rho.
Previously, Anne interned with CNN’s political unit in D.C., where she covered the GOP presidential primaries in 2012. She also interned at the U.S. Department of State with the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs.
Born in Hong Kong, Anne has called D.C. home since high school.
