Abbey Meller is the organizing associate for Democracy and Government at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Meller was a field assistant at the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, where she worked on issues including judicial and executive nominations, economic security, and transportation and infrastructure. She also wrote and hosted a podcast on public health and social justice issues called “Generation Invincible.” Meller earned her Bachelor of Science in public health from the University of Georgia, where she represented her college as the student senator for the College of Public Health.
