Meredith Lukow is the Managing Editor at American Progress, where she has been putting her unnatural grammar and organizational skills to good use for progressive policies since 2013. Previously, she served as a program assistant at the Unitarian Universalist Association, where she managed the Standing on the Side of Love campaign’s online strategy, including its website, social media, blog, and email outreach.
Lukow graduated from American University with dual bachelor’s degrees in international studies and political science and a minor in Arabic language. During college, she studied abroad in Amman, Jordan, and Alexandria, Egypt, and completed internships with the Save Darfur Coalition and the office of Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI).
Lukow is a proud Wisconsinite turned Marylander and, naturally, a devoted Green Bay Packers fan.
