Christine Dickason is a research analyst for the Center for American Progress Action Fund War Room. Prior to joining American Progress, she was the deputy director of correspondence for first lady Michelle Obama. Dickason earned her bachelor’s degree in public policy leadership from the University of Mississippi, where she focused on equal access to education and issues of food insecurity. She helped start the first student food bank on campus and co-created a short documentary film on college preparation that was later used for teacher training by the Mississippi Department of Education.
She is currently a 2018 master’s candidate in public policy at George Washington University. In her free time, she enjoys farmers markets, cooking, and the occasional Netflix binge.
