Liana Bishop is the senior digital communications and multimedia associate for Generation Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Bishop worked on the communications team at the political technology company Aristotle International, where she helped launch their startup PredictIt, which Politico called the “stock market for politics.” She also worked as a news cycle management analyst at the public policy consulting firm Hamilton Place Strategies. She graduated from the University of Central Florida, or UCF, in Orlando with a B.A. in international and global studies and a minor in French. While at UCF, she worked for the nonprofits Feeding Children Everywhere and U.S. Hunger, interned with Organizing for America, and served as a geopolitics research assistant for a scholar of Central Asia. Additionally, Bishop traveled through China as a part of a diplomacy delegation with the International Scholar Laureate Program. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, running, and baking.
