Washington, D.C. — On Tuesday, February 11, the Center for American Progress with host the book launch for Senior Fellow Nina Hachigian’s latest book, Debating China. The event will feature a conversation with a key architect and implementer of U.S.-China policy, White House Senior Director for Asian Affairs Evan Medeiros, to discuss a wide range of issues animating the U.S.-China relationship.
There is no bilateral relationship in the world more consequential than the one between the United States and China. How they choose to cooperate and compete affects billions of lives. But U.S.-China relations are complex, sensitive, and often very difficult to navigate.
In her new book, Debating China, Hachigian pairs Chinese and American experts in a series of letter exchanges to illuminate this multidimensional relationship.
