Statement: Our Sympathies to the Family of Tim Russert

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Tim Russert. He reinvented the Sunday morning talk show, and no one was better than Russert at forcing people out of their talking points to actually commit news. He had a serious commitment to the issues, and not just a discussion of who was up and who was down. He earned the respect of his peers, those he interviewed, and those who watched him, and he will be deeply missed.
