The Mortgage Finance Working Group, organized by the Center for American Progress, has put together the following materials that contain proposals for reforming our housing finance system.

The first is a slideshow entitled, "A Reponsible Secondary Market System for Housing Finance," which outlines what a reformed secondary market for housing finance would look like.

The second is the Mortgage Finance Working Group’s response to a notice and request for information from the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of the Treasury on reform of the housing finance system.
