Shivani Parikh: Washington DC is an awesome place so it's really easy to have fun here.
Sam Ungar: There's something really incredible and special about spending time in a city where such amazing and important decisions are being made every single day.
Gabby Bryant: It's politically aware, it's a great city to be in.
Mark Hines: I actually want to work in think tanks and in the government so coming to DC has really been a great decision.
Emily Wood: The most awesome thing I've gotten to do this summer was introduce Bill Clinton at the Campus Progress national conference.
Sean Savett: Here I am, an intern on my second day, and I'm interviewing congressmen without any preparation. It's unbelievable.
Stefani Jones: The working environment's really fun, it's exciting.
Caroline Spruill: We're doing really interesting policy work.
Stefani Jones: It's nice to meet so many other progressives from all around the country from different backgrounds and different points of view.
Karam Sethi: CAP has a softball team that's comprised of interns and staff.
Maxwell Wallace: Brown bag lunches are lunches that the intern coordinator puts together with kind of famous Washington types and then we get to ask questions.
Raj Solhatra: Progressive values means to me is having government work for individual Americans, having government make positive change on ordinary Americans' lives.
Phil Acevedo: As progressives, I believe we are here to promote a stronger society for a better nation.
