The buses running between Duke’s East and West Campuses are always aflutter with overlapping conversations: people on cell phones to their respective parents, complaints about professors, ribald narratives of the previous weekend’s party circuit, etc. But in the last months of the school year, a new conversation has emerged on the buses, one that betrays the fundamental notion of Duke as a bastion of intellectual thought even more so than our lacrosse team’s party on March 13. And, even as the school year comes to a close, the chatter shows no signs of abating.
