All-In Nation: An America that Works for All

12:00 - 1:45 PM EDT

The U.S. Census projects that by 2043, people of color will comprise the majority of the population in our nation. Yet today, the communities that are growing fastest are being left behind in a number of economic and social indicators, and not positioned to reach their full potential. What are the implications for our economy as these populations grow? What needs to happen to ensure opportunity for all? And how do we jumpstart a national dialogue about the economic imperative of closing racial gaps for the sake of our collective future?

Please join the Center for American Progress and PolicyLink for the release of their new publication All-In Nation: An America that Works for All, a book that examines the shifting demographics, equity, and the future of the American economy.

All-In Nation makes the case that as our nation undergoes profound demographic shifts, it is more urgent than ever to ensure everyone can participate and prosper, not only because it is a moral imperative but because it is in our economic interest as well. The book presents new analysis demonstrating that racial inclusion would strengthen America’s economy in the short and the long term, as well as providing a blueprint for creating a more equitable economy and nation.
