Henrik Rehbinder

Henrik Rehbinder is editor of La Opinion's Editorial Pages. Originally from Uruguay and Argentina, Henrik came to Los Angeles in 1979, and thereafter began working at a Spanish-language weekly newspaper. He joined La Opinion in 1987, working as senior writer, national news editor, front-page editor, and assumed his current position in 2003. Henrik has won a number of journalist awards including the 2001 Hispanic Media 100 and a 1997 team award from the Sociedad Interamericana de Prensa. Henrik has appeared as a commentator on local TV news, was a part of the news roundtable show Contrapunto (KVEA), and has written on Spanish-language media coverage for the Columbia Journalism Review and Hispanic Trends.
