Rev. Tyronne Edwards
Rev. Tyronne Edwards, is the founder of Zion Travelers Cooperative Center in Phoenix, Louisiana, which was organized in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Rev. Edwards is a native of Plaquemines Parish in Phoenix, Louisiana with over thirty-nine years of community organizing and human service experiences. He has recruited, trained, and coordinated thousands of volunteers from many of national and international faith-based and activist organizations to provide relief work to the area. Within the Plaquemines Parish community, he has trained and developed women's and youth leadership, a technology center, youth entrepreneurship projects, and Affordable Housing Program programs.
