Joe Miller

Joe Miller was appointed general counsel to American Health Insurance Plans, an industry group that represents health insurers, in August 2010. He served in the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice from 1998 until 2010, where he became assistant chief of the Litigation Section. That section enforces the antitrust laws in a wide variety of industries, including health care and insurance markets. Before joining the DOJ, Miller worked for Collier, Shannon, Rill & Scott and as a trial attorney for the Federal Trade Commission.
