Patricia M. Genese

As the Expanded Learning Time (ELT) Facilitator at Jacob Hiatt Magnet School, Patricia oversees and coordinates all aspects of this state funded initiative. Patricia has developed and maintained a wide range of partnerships with community-based organizations and other service providers to build and expand an integrated set of programs and services that remove barriers to learning and meet the needs of the school's students and their families. Patricia spent sixteen years as a classroom teacher prior to accepting the position as ELT facilitator four years ago. She earned her B.A in education and psychology from Assumption College, her Master of Arts in Urban Education from Clark University, and her license in Educational Administration from Worcester State College.
