Beth Dunford
Beth Dunford serves as Senior Development Advisor to Ambassador Holbrooke. She is a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Agency for International Development, most recently on the Administrator's policy staff as senior advisor. Previously, she was the Alternative Livelihoods program director for USAID/Afghanistan, working to provide farmers licit alternatives to poppy production. She has also served in Ethiopia where she managed humanitarian and food security issues. Beth Dunford holds a Ph.D. from Michigan State University in Sociology.
