Sarah McLaughlin

Sarah McLaughlin is the Administrator of the Office of Expanded Learning Time, Pilot and Readiness Schools at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Additionally, she manages the dissemination of federal and state school improvement grants. While at the Department, Sarah has also focused on school improvement planning processes and led a statewide network of School Support Specialists.

Sarah joined the Department after teaching at an elementary school in Washington DC for four years; designing and leading an after school program at a middle school in Bronx, New York and serving as the Operations and Education Manager at a non profit community technology center.

She holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and Education Policy from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Boston University.
