Cory Curl

Cory Curl is senior research analyst in the Governor's Office of State Planning and Policy for the State of Tennessee. She leads research efforts to support Governor Phil Bredesen's education reform agenda, primarily in teacher effectiveness, standards and assessments, and school finance. She previously served as policy director for the Tennessee Department of Education, where she coordinated policy analysis and development on a broad spectrum of education issues, including reform of the state's school funding formula, the equitable distribution of effective teachers, the AYP growth model, high school graduation rates, and data systems. She holds an MPA from the University of Kentucky's Martin School of Public Policy and Administration.
