David J. Rothman

David J. Rothman, Ph.D., is the Director of the Institute on Medicine as a Profession at Columbia University. He is the Bernard Schoenberg Professor of Social Medicine and Professor of History and serves as the director of the Center for the Study of Science and Medicine at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia. He specializes in social history and the history of medicine.
