Helene Cooper

Helene Calista Cooper is the diplomatic correspondent for the New York Times. Before joining the Times in 2004, she spent twelve years at the Wall Street Journal writing about international economics, trade, and the war in Iraq. Born in Monrovia, Liberia, she now lives in the Washington, D.C., area.
